Planet Asia & DJ Jay-Ef - Water Front (Prod. Izznyce)/Superhero Shit (Prod. Nestto) (Music Videos)

One of the hardest working gifted emcees for well over two decades and an absolute lyrical monster to devour your whole being while dropping jewels is none other than Gold Chain Music's own Planet Asia. Can you recall a time when he wasn't releasing a project or blazing guest features? A prime example from last year alone are some standouts like the feature on "F.R.E.S.H." by London, U.K. (by-way-of Montreal, Canada via Lagos, Nigeria) Producer_DJ_Owner of Str8 Buttah Productions, Teck-Zilla, with Blu, Mister Rae and Dominique LaRue also on the track, to Gold Chain Music's singles "MISSILES" featuring YaH-Ra, Planet Asia and Montage One (Los Angeles, CA_Likwit Crew) and "Off the Books" featuring Planet Asia, K. Burns (Los Angeles, CA by-way-of Brooklyn, N.Y._Team Fame GVNG (TFMG)) and Lenox Hughes (Los Angeles, CA by-way-of Harlem, N.Y._Leaders of the Empire) and the track "Empty Space" with Kurious & Ro Data on Chong Wizard Records. This year alone Planet Asia has rocked tracks with The Musalini & 9th Wonder on "Summer League", "Black Czars" also featuring Rome Streetz off Ill Conscious and Mute Won, "3 Man Weave" from Wais P & Pete Twist with guest The Musalini and even the new GCM member YaH-Ra featured PA on her new album The Queen's Gambit for the track "Payday".


Planet Asia's longtime affiliate DJ Jay-Ef (Tenafly, N.J. by-way-of New York_Co-Host of Leschea Show_Owner of Mona Hip Hop) honed his turntablist skills even further under the tutelage of DJ Rob Swift.(Queens, N.Y._Member of Da Odd Couple and X-Ecutioners_Owner of Brolic Army DJ School_DJ for ESPN's College GameDay). To be a student of the X-Ecutioners legend shows prestige. Check those "Civil War: Brolic Army Battle for Supremecy" DJ battles he has been in for proof of his abilities. DJ Jay-Ef's work has garnered such well known artists like Masta Ace, Planet Asia, Wordsworth and Torae to grace his debut EP on April 23, 2021, called Believe It or Not. Then in the same year the equally exceptional project with Wordsworth titled Undivided Attention on October 19th. It was only right the two friends (Planet Asia and DJ Jay Ef) connect for their own album titled CASH OR CASKETS set for release on April 1, 2022. Eager to hear this album they gave us fans some appetizers with "La La", produced by DJ Kanzer (Valencia, Spain_Def Squad), mixed by IzzNyce (San Francisco, CA_Gold Chain Music_Brick Records_Cotter Records) and mastered by Drawzilla (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) at Drumline Studios (Pleasant Valley, N.Y.). Then on March 1st, the first single "Water Front" produced by IzzNyce with the music video directed by Starz Coleman was released. Followed by the second single "Superhero Shit" on March 15th, produced by Planet Asia's nephew Nestto and music video directed by Starz Coleman.

This is more than enough by Planet Asia and DJ Jay Ef to hold us over until April 1st for CASH OR CASKETS.
