Peace Interstellar!

I would like to thank you again for allowing us to interview you. The new album "Clockwork" is a highlight for me of the many October 2025 releases. You put a lot of work into this. A true labor of love.

Tell us where did your persistent work ethic to achieve goals come from?

Good question, I have no idea, I'm usually just in the mindset of to get things done.

Are you born and raised in Sweden?

Yes born and raised.

Tell us how your name became Interstellar?

When I was thinking about a name I wanted to have just a word that represents me and who I am as a person, and I think that the universe is interesting and often think about space and stuff.

Plus the movie "Interstellar" is one of my favorite movies.

Great film!

Growing up what music did you hear and who was playing it? Also, what music did you play growing up?

My father always played rock music and my older brother listened to a lot of hard rock and heavy metal, I listened to a lot of different stuff in the beginning like The Offspring and i also listened to a lot of movie score/soundtracks and stuff like that (I think you can here it in my music that it's a lot of cinematic influences) to find my thing that eventually became hiphop.

Have you tried out other elements of Hip Hop growing up like breaking, graffiti or emceeing?

Not at all, making beats was my thing from the start, but I have to admit that when I was younger I tried to improvise rhymes in my head, not writing anything down, but just to see how long I can rhyme on the same word, just for fun though.

What is your favorite beer?

My go to beer is a swedish beer called Eriksberg, but I can also enjoy an IPA once in a while.

Producers utilize equipment to make dope music like you have displayed. That equipment is musical instruments whether others disagree. Do you play or trained in any other musical instruments?

I played the drums as a kid, but I can play some very simple things on the piano and the guitar.

What equipment did you start using for production and is it still the same?

FL studio and still use it to this day. My process of making beats might be a little slower than other producers because I don't use any samples. I make every melody, every chord and every teeny tiny music sound is my own composition.

What inspired you to start producing and is it still the same inspiration in 2025?

I started making beats as a kid, I have been doing it more or less for 22 years but in the last couple of years started to take it more seriously and try to perfect it as much as possible.

Plus when I here new music drop i get competitive and want to be better.

Is anyone else in your family a producer or musician?

Nope but my dad played the drums when he was younger and my brother is a very good guitar player so music and instruments have always been in my family.

When you're not producing or listening to your vinyl collection, what else goes on in the life of Interstellar?

Oh man, working as a bricklayer and family life. Got a wife and two kids, 3 year old daughter and a two months old son, so its a lot going on. I once in a while when I got the time play some video games.

Eminem's "The Marshall Mathers LP" album is what not only got you into Hip Hop, yet also your acquired taste of music. How many CDs have you owned of it since your first CD became unplayable?

Actually just one more cd, after cds it was on my mp3 player.

Did you discover "The Marshall Mathers LP" album the year it was released (2000)?

It was actually maybe a year later or something, i was a little too young I think.

Take us back to the story of how it all started with Eminem's album "The Marshall Mathers LP"?

I was like 11 and everybody was talking about "Stan", and I had no idea what it was, when I found out that it was music they was talking about I bought the cd single and was blown away how good it was, so i bought the "MM LP" cd and was blown away again like "what the fuck is this?", "what the hell is he saying?". So I always played it with my headphones so my parents wouldn't know what I listened to.

Did your vinyl collection begin in 2024? What's some personal memorable vinyl records you have like Mickey Diamond's "Gone In 60 Seconds"?

Actually started collecting in 2019 I think, so got over 800 records in the collection.

One memorable record is I got Ty Farris "Timing Of A Tarantula" signed with number 1 out of 10.

Wow! Is your Eminem or Mickey Diamond physical collection the biggest you own of all artists on vinyl? If not who is?

My Eminem collection is bigger, got all albums, all collab albums like bad meets evil and D12 and a lot of 12"singles and even some other singles he is only a featured artist on.

What made you choose to keep vinyl records alive and thriving by building your own collection?

I have always loved having a physical copy of the music, to look at the tracklist, the artwork and credits and stuff. There is something special about putting on a record to listen to instead of putting it on on your phone.

Being you own the 25th Anniversary of "The Marshall Mathers LP" have you searched for the original first pressing?

Nah I'm not an OG nerd, some people think its blasphemy to own anything other than the OG but I'm like "as long as I got the music on wax, I'm good"

October 24, 2025 you released your album "Clockwork". When did the idea and creative process begin?

I made a lot of beats the last couple of years and tried to reach out to artists if they was interested in anything but they never really gave me a chance I feel like, so I came to a point this summer where I felt like "fuck it, I'll do it myself", a couple of months later I dropped my first project.

Did you have the album title already when you began making "Clockwork"?

Not at all, I had a hard time coming up with the title, I said earlier that I'm interested in the universe but I'm also interested in the concept of "time", so wanted to have something like that, and I felt like if I'm gonna do an album it needs to happen now so it was sort of like a race against the clock thing. Plus I feel like I put this project together one track at the time like Clockwork.

Listening to the album you can tell dedication was put into this with not just your production talents beginning to end, yet also presentation overall, track sequencing, engineering, album artwork, as it each song carries it's own emotion with a cinematic atmosphere. It's appreciated. How has the response been since it's release?

It has been good, people have been reaching out telling me they like it and it has showed up on a lot of places like lists of fresh new music and blogs.

What personal significance does the word "Clockwork" mean to you in life and with Hip Hop music being a labor of love?

Yeah I think I'm just a person who do things systematically, one step at a time like Clockwork.

Copenhagen's own multi-talented Machacha mixed and mastered your new album. Have you known him before working together? What was the decision in choosing Machacha for mixing and mastering?

I did not know him before no but we have a mutual friend and he talked to him. And i know I wanted to have someone who I know I can trust to do a great job. And being told by the great Machacha that he liked my beats and my project means a lot.

By the way, Copenhagen, Denmark is so close to Sweden with a small portion of the Baltic Sea separating the two countries. You must get your orders from Copenhagen Crates fast.

Not at all, I'm usually amongst the ones who get their records last for some reason.

All guest emcees are from the United States (Sean Links, O The Great, Supreme Cerebral, Crimeapple, Eddie Kaine, André DeSaint, Ill Conscious & Shottie). As a fan of them did you connect to begin working together?

Yeah all of the artists on my project I'm a fan of and own records of so I reached out to them.

How did it feel to get these highly talented artists on your album who all are making waves with their music?

Unbelievable, it still feels crazy that i got these amazing artists on my own projects.

How important was Charlotte/Rocky Mount, North Carolina native Sean Links role with your album "Clockwork"?

I had the beat for "HAWK'S VISION" and I knew I had something special and I needed somebody who could take it to next level so I reached out to Sean Links and he did an amazing job. It was actually his idea to shoot a video for it, so he helped out a lot and I have a lot to thank him for.

HHDG Media Inc. have interviewed Denmark's own DJ Swab in the past.

His cuts are amazingly precise with mesmerizing production that continues to gain attention as well. How did you meet Swab? Tell us the story of creating "Clockwork Intro" with Swab.

I knew that I wanted a intro and I got the beat that I wanted for it, and knew I wanted some scratches for it and thought it was gonna be dope to have some phrases from the album on it, so I asked swab if he could scratch some things from the album, so I sent him the things I wanted scratched and he did a great job.

And when I got the artwork from stutender I added the cinematic/street sounds to it to go with the feel of the artwork.

Stutender has done some amazing artwork with his vision, creativity and details for many in music like Nutso, Maze Overlay, Substance810 and now Interstellar. Tell us how you came to work with Stutender for "Clockwork" album cover artwork and the idea you presented?

I knew I wanted a dope album cover and I stumbled across him on IG and went through his page and saw some incredible stuff, so reached out and told him my vision, and what elements I wanted in it like a hooded guy and a clock somewhere, and he did his magic and it turned out incredible

I listen to Söderort, Stockholm Emcee, Christmaz, Prop Dylan, Stockholm Singer, Sabina Ddumba, Fatima and some producers like K-Sluggah (Malmö), Professor P (Lund), DJ Akillies (Uppsala), DJ Devastate, Sun Raw aka SRaw, Soulslicers, Pause Beats and more from Sweden. Are there any Swedish artists you worked with or look forward to working with we should know about?

A dream collab would be "Organismen", but he raps in Swedish, Prop Dylan of course.

If you dont know about looptroop, check them out, probably the biggest hiphop act coming out of Sweden.

Eminem, Mickey Diamond, Substance810, Vega7 The Ronin, Pro Dillinger, Ty Farris are these artists high on your list of who you want to work with?

Absolutely, I would work with all of them if got the chance.

What other artists would you like to create music with?

Vega7 would be a dream, of course Mickey Diamond.

Would be dope to work with ETO at some point, Ferris Blusa, M.A.V.

As an avid vinyl collector how does feel to have your new album "Clockwork" on vinyl and in your very hands soon?

Crazy, having my own music on a vinyl record is something I never thought was possible just a couple of years ago.

Btw go get your vinyl copies while they still available.

When fans/supporters listen to "Clockwork" what do you want them to experience?

I want them to experience something different maybe, since I don't sample I hope people recognize that it don't sound like anything else.

Last, what else can we expect from Interstellar?

I'm trying to figure out my next move right now, hopefully some new project in the next year. peace!
