YaH-Ra - LOVE WiNS (EP)

Progression is a word I think of when I read the name YaH-Ra. Moving to Los Angeles from San Bernardino, CA, becoming a Gold Chain Music member and constantly displaying why she is mutli-talented in songs, features, EPs, albums, live show performances and more through properly marketing her music and business. Not to go too far back, yet it remains to be noted she has music in the past under the name Maya Huyana. Bare witness to her lyrical abilities on "Missles" (prod. by Playa Haze of Gold Chain Music), "Seance" by Hus Kingpin (prod by Scary Hour) "Don't Be Bitter" (prod. by Wavy Da Ghawd of The Walkers), 2022 album CALiFORNiCATiON: WESTSiDE TALES ALBUM and continuously showing musical growth with last year's FOR THE HOMiES EP. This is not an artist that just showed up overnight. Her resume builds with the diligence and skills driven to multiple achievements. Need I remind you again she is part of the formidable Gold Chain Music. They don't bring anyone into the family. Emceeing, Singing, Engineering, Production and her own business Grillz by YaH. She does it all! Take notice and be inspired as YaH-Ra is to be taken seriously/equally.


Those gifts she is blessed with are on full display for the Valentine's Day (2/14/24) release of LOVE WiNS EP. Three singles ("WHAT A LiFE" (prod. by Khrysis) feat. The Musalini & Silent Snipers, "BREAK" & "THE iLLEST" feat Bruiser Wolf of Bruiser Brigade) in 2023 led up to this anticipated EP with a similar atmosphere from her previous music now elevated on the 2024 release. Boasting beats and production from Dae One, Dion Glenn, iZZNYCE, Khrysis, Junia T., ReddNTheBuilding and of course YaH-Ra as well. Engineering to make the final outcome be right and exact for us listeners and supporters comes by YaH-Ra and Hawthorne, CA veteran Dae One. We even have subtle guitar work done on the "ACHiLLES" track by Armando Perez. Complimenting the soft spoken assertive lyrics by YaH-Ra are guests Paul Wall, The Musalini, Silent Snipers, Bruiser Wolf and A Plus Tha Kid.

With this EP we get the cruising west coast Cali vibes all the way to slow rhythmic tempo smoked out low frequency carrying sounds. This music permeates GCM's substance-laden mesmerizing vocals with some defining singing moments how only YaH-Ra can do. This EP has something for everyone and entices the attention of others to become fans and supporters. As the title states, LOVE WiNS.
