1st Generation (Kurupt, MC Eiht, King T, Jayo Felony, Gangsta & Tha Chill) - "Rapture"/"Ova"

Notable California artists MC Eiht, King T, Tha Chill, Gangsta, Kurupt and Jayo Felony created the group, 1st Generation well over a decade ago. Some may remember the tracks back then "Killing Me Softly" and "Sharks n tha Water" both produced by Tha Chill. Fast forward to 2022 and we have two new tracks, "Rapture" produced by Los Angeles talent on the boards, as well as the trumpet, Josef Leimberg and the second single "Ova (Fairweather Friend)" produced by Cali legend Sir Jinx. Both tracks will be on the upcoming 1st Generation EP, Rapture set for release on May 26, 2022 via Penagon/Boomdocz in partnership with Fat Beats and Soulspazm.


"Rapture" steps in with that signature hard knocking west coast production and added flavor of cuts on the hook accompanied by Cali certified vocals of Bokie Loc and Weazel Loc, while Bokie Loc handles the chorus of the smooth cruising sounds of "Ova (Fairweather Friend)".
