March 11, 2024 marks birthday of the highly talented musician, O’hene Savánt (Emcee, Producer, Author and more)(Atlanta, GA via Philadelphia, PA/Accra, Ghana). What better distinguished way to celebrate his birth than the gift of all his determined work through challenges with the release of today's new album W.A.T.S. (We Are The Salt). Written, Produced, Arranged and Mixed by the lone strategist. (and mastered by Herb Powers). In O’hene Savánt's own words, "Originally meant for 2022 release but delayed by a a label partnership O’hene Savánt describes W.A.T.S in an interview as "The album he worked the hardest on." Having recorded 40 songs to pick these 16 and at times staying up 5 days out of a week at a time." With his gifted mind he includes noteworthy features of Chuck D (Public Enemy/...AndYouDon'tStop), Chubb Rock (Chubb Rock Show/Chubb Rock Weekend Warriors), Nonchalant (Record Pool Mixes), Speech,(Arrested Development), Anthony Mosely, ESnipe and Feli Nuna. O’hene Savánt continues his cohesive abilities with bass guitarist Anuar Rodriguez, lead guitarist Fred Campbell, words by Dr. Scot Brown and additional vocals provided by Kimberly Noelle, Bolaji Ajike, Tina Lopez, Evia Pugh, Albert Cordery aka Al B Art, Marcus Thrower/Mr. Throwdown and Nicola Williams.
