Nottingham, U.K. raised the now London-residing crooner and guitarist, Liam Bailey. Surrounded by Reggae, Soul, Blues and Rock music growing up is a direct reflection of the music he creates. His vocals struck up chemistry with Leon Michels, of El Michels Affair after a visit to New York spawned from becoming a fan of El Michels Affair debut "Sounding Out The City". Their synergy continued and aided in the creation of Liam's 2020 debut album Ekundayo (released on Big Crown Records (Leon Michels label)). March 12, 2021 marked the 7" vinyl release for remixes of two tracks from his debut. The A side track is "Champion (Remix)" featuring one of Philly's finest, Black Thought of The Roots. "Champion (Remix)" was originally released digital only in September 2020. Both tracks are produced by Leon Michels, with the original versions available on Liam Bailey's album Ekundayo.
Reggae fans be sure to enjoy the B side as well with a feature by the one and only Lee "Scratch" Perry on "Ugly Truth (Remix).
