Khrysis - The Hour of Khrysis (Produced by Khrysis) (Album)
Updated: Apr 21, 2021
The noteworthy resume of Raleigh, North Carolina's Producer/Emcee/Engineer, Khrysis (of Jamla Records and part of 9th Wonder's production team The Soul Council) spans well over a decade. Fans have been asking the beatsmith for a solo album for quite some time. His skills on the boards for many emcees is the defining factor. Projects showing off his production discography, instrumentals and rhymes have come in the form of Khrysis On The Boards With The Heat series (v.1 & v.2), "MotherFuNker, Khrysis On The Boards v.2, Merry Khrysmas, fuNkwhatchuheard and The Away Team (Sean Boog & Khrysis) have held us over as the anticipation built year after year until 2021.

His debut solo album has arrived in the form of The Hour of Khrysis, on April 20, 2021 via Jamla Records and Empire. I need not explain the pleasure he has graced us with after all this time with his signature "Khrysis On The Boards With The Heat" being absolute facts. Khrysis made sure we didn't forget lyrics is part of his repertoire on THOK. The initial track "Never Change" shows off The Soul Council member's personality through his rhymes and ain't a damn thing change. He came to catch wreck!
When the hour struck midnight on April 20th, the talented guests of The Hour of Khrysis showed off exactly why Khrysis selected them. Starting with Mumu Fresh (Washington, D.C. by-way-of Baltimore, MD), Geechi Seude (of Camp Lo_Bronx, N.Y.), De La Soul (Amityville, Long Island, N.Y.), The Away Team (Sean Boog & Khrysis), Problem (Compton, CA_COFFEE and KUSH), Dontae, Evidence (Venice/Los Angeles, CA_Dilated Peoples), Niko Is (Orlando, FL. by-way-of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil_Javotti Media), Chi Ali (Soundview, Bronx, N.Y.), Reuben Vincent (Myers Park, Charlotte, N.
