Da Beatminerz featuring De La Soul, Pharoahe Monch, Rasheed Chappell & Corey Glover (of Living Colour) - My Year (Single/Music Video)

Updated: May 29

Brooklyn's (N.Y.) own and world renowned Da Beatminerz (Mr. Walt & DJ Evil Dee) are steadily gearing us up with dope singles for their upcoming album titled Stifled Creativity dropping June 21, 2024 through Soulspazm Records. In 2023 we were bombarded with the KRS-One (Bronx, N.Y.) amped up "Seckle" during November. Then propelled the track even further with "Seckle ..... Once Again" as Boot Camp Clik's Smif-N-Wessun (Tek (Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, N.Y.) & General Steele (Brownsville, Brooklyn, N.Y.) joined their brethren on he remix. These Reggae-vibed out songs feel like a continuation of bangers from Da Beatminerz Brace 4 Impak album sessions.

Next up for new singles on May 10, 2024, comes the heavy bravado stated song "My Year" featuring legends De La Soul (Amityville, Long Island, N.Y.), Pharoahe Monch (Southside Jamaica, Queens, N.Y.) and Corey Glover (Brooklyn, N.Y.)(of Living Colour) along with the highly successful rising talents of Rasheed Chappell (NYC via Passaic, N.J.) on the new song, which I heard the early exclusive through Soundcheck (Rhettmatic & D-Styles)(World Famous Beat Junkies) Tuesday night (5/7/2024). The sought after Jake Palumbo (Brooklyn, N.Y. via Johnson City, TN)(SpaceLAB Recordings) does it again with his cunning engineering expertise handling the mixing bringing out the best of Da Beatminerz production and vocals by De La Soul, Pharoahe Monch, Rasheed Chappell and Corey Glover. This track amplifies the meaning of being highly confident and expressive of your accomplishments no matter the critics as 2024 is "My Year" eloquently established by  Corey Glover on the chorus. Da Beatminerz loudly proclaiming Stifled Creativity is coming very soon! Be Ready!
