The Queen in chess is revered as the most powerful player. The all being that women (our Queens) represent is displayed exquisitely on the two new tracks "Queens Gambit" and "Make Room" released April 30, 2021, by Detroit native, Boog Brown (Atlanta, GA). She is known to always excel diversely on the mic with no containment and she brings along another Detroit spitter held in the same realm with Miz Korona. To compliment these emcees on the tracks is none of than Producer, D.R.U.G.S. Beats (North Carolina/Atlanta/Los Angeles) who always has the head-nodding heat. We get the fanfare filled bounce track "Queens Gambit" full of energy in the lyricism and its sound. Following up is the content driven "Make Room" speaking on the communication of Black men towards Black women in how we can improve, make changes, proper friendship, respect our women and mature collectively, as we all can achieve so much more in solidarity. "Queens Gambit" and "Make Room" has me eager for much more from Boog Brown, D.R.U.G.S. Beats and Miz Korona collectively. Can we get this on a 12" vinyl with radio, dirty and instrumentals, maybe acapellas? I can only wish.
